CSx is not compatible with 'AutoCAD LT' versions and 'MS Office starter' version.
Importent:
Do not insert key-lok (dongle) in USB port, before CSx installation.
Uninstall old CSx, if already installed. Make sure, required version of AutoCAD is already installed.
- Open the suitable folder ('Setup-CSx-2011-32-bit' or 'Setup-CSx-2011-64-bit') from given CD and run 'Setup*.msi' file.
- For 64 bit users only: After setup is complit, go to Windows start menu located at lower left corner. Select 'All Programs'. Select 'CSx'. Select 'Install.exe'. A dialog box will display. Select 'USB Dongle' and click on 'Bigin Install'. Follow instructions...
- After installation, insert the Dongle (keylok) in USB port. 'New hardware found' wizard will run...
After completing wizard, click
icon for Windows start menu (located in lower left corner), select 'All Programs', select 'CSx'
and choose 'VerifyKey.exe'.
A dialog box will display. Select 'Verify Key' menu. The dongle serial number must display.
Click 'OK' button.
Click 'Exit' menu. See visuals for this. - Now start AutoCAD. If CSx menu is not display in top, use 'menuload' command.
- After CSx installation, if dongle failure message will display in 'Verify Key' utility, run 'device manager', to solve it.
- If CSx installation is done before AutoCAD installation, use 'options' command to activate CSx.
- If AutoCAD command prompt not display, press Crtl+9.
